Went in for a inspection. Had to have 400 dollars worth of money put into the car to pass and a new battery that died 3 months later. Nice staff but have found other problems. UNTRUSTWORTHY
We do appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns and it is certainly not our goal to have a customer feel their experience with us left them thinking we are untrustworthy. We did sell you a battery in June and today we offered to replace the battery under warranty. In order to honor the warranty the battery has be be re-charged & re-tested. Due to the fact that you were in Hagerstown and not close to our facility, we called the closest facility where the battery could be taken (which was about 10 miles from the facility that was servicing your vehicle) This would be the Interstate Battery Distribution Center for that and surrounding areas. They indicated they would be happy to re-charge and re-test the battery and take care of the warranty since you were closer to them. I understand that you declined this offer and chose to have the facility where your vehicle was being serviced install their battery. We have several instances where customers visit our shop and we determine the fix is under warranty with the manufacturer. We do not fix the vehicle & charge the customer for it, we send them to the facility that can honor the warranty and repair it at no cost to the customer. We want our customers to trust us. We have been serving customers in this area for 40 years and hope to do so for many more.
